Motor Ace will reunite for one show at Melbourne’s Espy in honour of the first ever vinyl release of their 2002 album Shoot This.

‘Shoot This’ was the second album for Motor Ace. It debuted at no 1 on the ARIA chart and generated two hit singles with ‘Carry On’ and ‘Keeping Secrets’.

‘Shoot This’ was produced by Chris Sheldon who had worked with Foo Fighters, Garbage and The Pixies. ”We demoed the record at Hothouse Studios in Melbourne and recruited Chris Sheldon, who had mixed Foo Fighters’ The Color And The Shape to come out to Australia to record the record. The demos were really good, so there was pressure to come up with something special.” drummer Damo Costin says of the album’s conception. “It was an exciting time for us,. “

The Motor Ace line-up is the original (and only line-up) of Patrick Robertson, Dave Ong, Damian Costin and Matt Balfe.

Motor Ace will perform on Friday 4 October 2019 at The Espy, Melbourne,

‘Shoot This’ on white vinyl will be released on 28 June through Warner Music.
