The Ann Wilson Thing, Heart member Ann Wilson’s solo project, will be releasing their second EP “soon” and it features a Jimi Hendrix track.
Ann Wilson has covered Hendrix’s ‘Manic Depression’ for the EP.
Wilson announced the release on her Facebook page without giving details on the name or release date, but listing the tracks that will be on the disc:
Manic Depression (live)
Fighting For Life (new original)
Don’t Give Up (live)
Anguish (new original)
There’s a good chance that the EP will be simply named #2 as the first one was titled The Ann Wilson Thing: #1 when it was released on September 18, 2015. Three days later, Wilson and her band went on the road for a solo tour.
Wilson has been breaking out over the last year both professionally and personally. Along with The Ann Wilson Thing!, Ann also married Dean Wetter last April, her first marriage.
