Kanye West’s new album will be called The Life of Pablo.

The 38-year-old rapper announced the news on his Twitter page on Thursday (11Feb16), alongside a full track list for the record.

“Final track list for The Life Of Pablo,” he wrote.

The decision marks the fourth time Kanye has changed the moniker for his latest offering. The hip-hop superstar had originally named his upcoming studio effort So Help Me God, before changing it to Swish and then to Waves last month (Jan16) – a decision which led to a now infamous Twitter feud with Wiz Khalifa.

Kanye had earlier encouraged his fans to try and guess the new title of the record, after referring to it by the acronym, T.L.O.P.

“That’s the new album anybody who can figure out the title gets tickets to Season 3 and free Yeezys,” he announced early on Tuesday (09Feb16), offering to award the winner with seats at his New York Fashion Week Adidas Yeezy Season 3 runway presentation at Madison Square Garden on Thursday (11Feb16), when he will also premiere his new disc.

Following Kanye’s confirmation of the record’s new name, speculation about who the Pablo is in the title began. However, during a speech at Oxford University back in 2015, Kanye spoke about his admiration for the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.

“My goal, if I was going to do art, fine art, would have been to become Picasso or greater,” he said at the time.

Kanye’s Twitter post revealed there will be 11 tracks on The Life of Pablo: Ultra Light Beams, Father Stretch My Hands Pt 1, Pt 2, Freestyle 4, Famous, Highlights, Feedback, Fade, FML, Real Friends and Wolves.

Previous detailing what fans can expect from the follow-up to 2013’s Yeezus, he told US radio host Big Boy: “This is a gospel album with a whole lot of cursing on it, but it’s still a gospel album. It’s the gospel, according to ‘Ye (Kanye). It’s not exactly what happened in the Bible, but it’s a story of this idea of Mary Magdalene becoming Mary.”
