Kanye West Fires Up At Taylor Swift In New Song

Kanye West may have reignited his rivalry with Taylor Swift after name-dropping the pop star in the lyrics to his new track, Famous.

West unveiled his new Yeezy Season 3 clothing line and much-anticipated album T.L.O.P. (The Life of Pablo) during his New York Fashion Week presentation on Thursday (11Feb16), and one line in a new song her debuted really caught the attention of fans around the world.

In the song, he raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, yeah I made that b**ch famous.”

The line in question references Kanye’s unforgettable stage invasion at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, when he grabbed the mic from a stunned Swift and protested her first ever VMA win for Female Video of the Tear, arguing his pal Beyonce should have won the prize.

Kanye and Taylor appeared to have put the feud behind them last year (15), when Swift presented the rap star with the Video Vanguard Award.

Ironically, Swift’s best friends, supermodels Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid, and actress Jaime King were in the audience for Kanye’s Madison Square Garden fashion show/album launch, which was streamed live on Jay Z’s Tidal, seated with the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan in a VIP section.

The Pearl Harbor star reacted to what she felt was an attack on the godmother of her baby by quickly deleting a video of the view from her seat at the event from Instagram.

Swift wasn’t the only celebrity the rapper name-dropped in the lyrics to songs on his new album – he also mentioned his wife Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Ray J, brother-in-law Rob Kardashian, and his rumoured girlfriend, Blac Chyna.

Kim stole some of the buzz from her husband’s big New York Fashion Week showcase by showing off a new blonde look as she arrived in a figure-hugging gown and white fur coat.
