Martin Barre Ex-Jethro Tull Sets US Solo Dates

Martin Barre of Jethro Tull will tour the USA this year performing songs from Tull as well as his solo music.

The Martin Barre Band will tour New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts in April and then return to America for more shows in September and October.

Barre will release his next solo album ‘Back To Steel’ later this year but also perform songs from his solo ‘Away With Words’ and ‘Order of Play’ albums.

From the Tull catalogue Barre has been performing ‘Thick As A Brick’, ‘A Song For Jeffrey’, ‘Minstrel In A Gallery’, ‘Sweet Dream’, ‘Locomotive Breath’, ‘Still Loving You Tonight’, ‘Fat Man’, ‘Teacher’ and ‘A New Day Yesterday’.

He also throws in the occasional blues and Beatles cover.
