After a theatrical showing in October, the Who have announced that they will be releasing their concert and documentary Live in Hyde Park to CD and home video on November 20.

Recorded on June 26, 2015 as the last show of the U.K. leg of their Who Hit 50! tour, the band played to an enthusiastic crowd of 50,000 covering songs from throughout their career. Also included on the release is behind-the-scenes footage along with interviews on how the Who influenced the careers of Robert Plant, Johnny Marr, Iggy Pop and others.

The album will be released in a variety of formats:
2-CD’s/DVD/Blu-Ray/Deluxe Book
The Who Hits 50! Tour will continue in 2016, necessitated by the postponing of a long list of dates after Roger Daltrey contracted viral meningitis.

1982 was supposed to be it for The Who’s touring career. They had made it clear that year that the tour to support their then new album, It’s Hard, was going to be their last one. Of course, that was not to be the case, and the bands 1982 trek of North American really just turned out to be their final tour with drummer Kenny Jones.
