National Live Music Awards Moves To Melbourne

by Noise11.com on July 7, 2017

in News

The National Live Music Awards gala event for 2017 is moving from Sydney to Melbourne.

The awards, created by AU Review founder Larry Heath, recognise live music performance in clubs and pubs across Australia.

In 2016 Ngaiire took away three awards while The Smith Street Band were named Live Act of the Year. The awards give a nod to real music artists who are generally overlooked by commercial made-for-television award shows.

To cover all regions of Australia satellite events will be held in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide as well as first time events in Launceston, Alice Springs and Fremantle.

Venues and ticketing information, as well as the announcement of new categories and public voting details, will be revealed later in the year.
