Olivia Newton-John has placed a message to Melbourne band The Swamp Dandies thanking them for their song ‘Olivia’.

At her website, Olivia writes “Thank you to my fellow Aussie’s in Melbourne, The Swamp Dandies. Your video is so sweet. Hilarious! And catchy too! Thank you!”.

Olivia is currently in Australia talking up her new movie ‘A Few Best Men’.

The Swamp Dandies is Greg Arnold, formerly of Things Of Stone and Wood. Although they have been around since 2000 their debut album was only released in 2010.

Greg dropped into Noise11.com and performed ‘Olivia’ as well as ‘Fall Into My Hands’ and ‘Everybody Stands In Line’. Watch the performance here:
