One Direction can’t wait to ‘have a laugh’ on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

The British boyband ‘ comprising of Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson ‘ will be performing on the iconic American comedy sketch show and Sofia Vergara will act as host.
The boys were deeply engaged in rehearsals, as laughing is one of their favourite pastimes.
‘This is our kind of show,’ Niall told MTV News. ‘You know, we like to have a bit of a laugh. This is our perfect kind of show [and] we get involved as much as we can.’
Bandmate Liam anticipates that fans will be entertained by the hilarious antics on tomorrow night’s show.
‘[Fans should expect] just us having a lot of fun on Saturday Night Live,’ Liam said. ‘We might be making an appearance after performing as well. Who knows?’
The group is hoping to get a lot of laughs out of the audience.
‘We think we are [hysterical],’ Harry joked as Liam completed the thought.
‘We”re just those guys who think we”re funny,’ Liam shared.
The band has been watching SNL for a while and they treasure some of the legendary sketches in the show’s archive.
‘I like all the stuff Justin Timberlake”s done,” Zayn shared.
‘I like the Beyoncé [Knowles and Blue Ivy] baby skit,’ bandmate Harry added.
‘I watched that; that was fun.’
