UK electro veterans Orbital have booked an Australian tour for May to show off their reunion album.

Orbital have been responsible for over two and a half decades of sublime dance music, and much more due to their broad influence.

Now the legends are ramping up for their new album Wonky, the first since they reunited in 2009, to be released on April 6.

They’ve announced a four-date Australian tour to introduce the new music to the sweaty masses, as well as delivering club classics and their trademark audio-visual experience.

Tickets go on sale this Friday 16 March from VenueTix for their Adelaide show, and Ticketek for Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney shows.

Orbital Australian Tour 2012
Thursday 3 May – HQ, Adelaide
Friday 4 May – The Palace, Melbourne
Saturday 5 May – The Metro, Sydney
Sunday 6 May – The Tivoli, Brisbane
