It’s been a long time coming, but hipster pop act Passion Pit release their second album Gossamer today. The kids will go mad for it.

Iowan metal royalty Slipknot have their not-quite-a-greatest-hits album Antennas To Hell. The other kids will go mad for it.

Folkies (and Mumford buddies) Old Crow Medicine Show have their new effort Carry Me Back.

Husky New Jersey folk-punks The Gaslight Anthem deliver their long-awaited, possibly proper breakthrough album Handwritten.

Aussie mainstream country artist Paul Costa has Wheels & Steel.

And just as a promise, R&B star Frank Ocean releases his proper debut Channel Orange on Monday in Australia.

Remember Soul Asylum? They’re back with Delayed Reaction. Indeed.

New UK electro-soul artist Alex Clare drops his debut The Lateness Of The Hour, produced by Diplo and Switch.

Malian afrobeat musician Ben Zabo also has his debut, self-titled album.

Aussie hip-hop megastars Bliss N Eso release their new DVD today – Running On Air Live.

There’s also a timely re-release of cult art-punks At The Drive-In’s seminal album In/Casino/Out for their Splendour In The Grass appearance. Plus re-releases for Refused, Millencolin, Raised Fist, and International Noise Conspiracy.

If you’re that excited, the soundtrack for The Dark Knight Rises is out now. Also, there’s one for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter with that Linkin Park tune.
