New Order/Joy Division guitarist Peter Hook will tour Australia as special guest on the Happy Mondays tour.

Hook will perform a DJ set at all of the shows.

Hook, in New Order and Joy Division, and Happy Mondays were drivers of the Manchester sound of the 70s via Tony Wilson’s Factory Records.

Happy Mondays will tour Australia with their original line-up featuring Bez, Gary Whelan, Mark Day, Paul Ryder, Rowetta and Shaun Ryder.

Melbourne’s The Underground Lovers will also perform at the Melbourne show.
