Police were reportedly called following a row between Sean Combs and singer Cassie Ventura after she told the Diddy she wanted to split.

According to website TMZ, police were called after the pair got into a heated argument on Wednesday afternoon. Sources said that Combs grabbed Ventura’s phone and jumped out of their car in Beverly Hills before Cassie left with the driver.

Sean Combs eventually returned the phone to the 29-year-old, but not before Cassie’s mother had called the cops.

Cassie explained to police Diddy had returned the phone, but cops allegedly logged a domestic incident report before leaving, reports the news outlet.

The Bad Boy Entertainment mogul, who is currently recovering from rotator cuff surgery on his shoulder, has not commented about the split. Instead took to social media to tweet about his vodka brand Ciroc’s new Mango flavour.

Reports first swirled that the couple’s relationship was in trouble after Diddy was seen out with Kim Porter. Porter is the mother of four of his children. Cassie allegedly accused the hip-hop star of cheating in a now deleted Instagram back in December.

Sean Combs founded Bad Boy Records in 1993. He recently announced he would be reuniting with artists from the label including Lil Kim, Mase and Faith Evans for a U.S. tour in August.

In March Diddy announced that Cassie would return to music and that he would be producing her new music. She has also returned to acting playing the lead role in the romantic comedy The Perfect Match.
