The SXSW Music Festival and Conference kicks off in two weeks with a stack of Aussie acts heading over once again for 2018.
Bad Pony is a five-piece indie rock band from Sydney. They released their debut EP ‘Limbo’ in 2015 and are now signed to Perfect Pitch Publishing.
Melbourne’s Pretty City are returning to SXSW in 2017 after showcasing in Texas in 2016. The Indie Rock band formed in 2012.
They will showcase in 14 March at the Iron Bear in Austin and also perform a month later in Austria.
In 2017 Melbourne’s RVG released their debut album ‘A Quality of Mercy’. They will play three farewell shows in Melbourne next week at the Old Bar in Fitzroy on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of their SXSW showcase and showcases at The Bootleg in Hollywood and Rough Trade in Brooklyn.
