SLAM is offering four guest seats to attend the dinner with screenwriter and radio presenter Marieke Hardy, the Prime Minister Julia Gillard, chef Matt Preston and TV host Andrew Denton.

Helen Marcou, SLAM co-founder said, “Marieke has really risen to the task. I’m a little flabbergasted! Who wouldn’t love to be a fly on the wall at this great occasion to witness a ‘woman of calibre’, such as the Prime Minister discuss the events of the day with Matt, Andrew and Marieke.”

It is to be noted that in the fairness of being non-partisan, Marieke offered invitations to both the Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott, leader of the opposition. Only the Prime Minister accepted.
