Protest The Hero Has A New Drummer

Following Moe Carlson’s departure from the group, Protest The Hero have announced new permanent drummer, Mike Ieradi.

Although Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler sat in for the recording of their forthcoming album, ‘Volition’, this was never to be a permanent thing. To fill the void left by longtime drummer Moe Carlson, the band have enlisted The Kindred’s drummer Mike Ieradi as his replacement.

As part of his initiation, Ieradi will play drums in both the support and headline acts during their upcoming tour, with his other band, The Kindred, providing support for his new band. “I hope you enjoy watching me sweat my way through two sets with Protest and The Kindred. It should be a fun one,” he said.

Protest The Hero’s new album Volition, featuring Chris Adler (Lamb Of God) on drums, will be released October 29.

Their world tour featuring Ieradi will commence October 7 in Ottawa, Canada.
