Pseudo Echo will record their first album in 13 years with thanks to fans funding the project via Pledgemusic.

The record will be Pseudo Echo’s fifth album.

In 2012 Pseudo Echo released ‘Suddenly Silent’, their first single in 20 years. In the 80s Pseudo Echo has three hit albums. ‘Autumnal Park’ reached no 11 in 1984, ‘Love An Adventure’ reached no. 14 in 1985 and ‘Race’ peaked at no. 18 in 1988. The reunion album ‘Teleporter’ was released in 2000.

Pseudo Echo has eight top 40 hits in Australia including the number one hit ‘Funky Town’, number two hit ‘Listening’ and number four hit ‘Don’t Go’.

5% of all money raised will go to Musicians on Call, a non-profit organisation formed in 1999 to bring live and recorded music to bedridden patients.

A few days into the Pseudo Echo pledge, the band has raised over 85% of their goal.

Pledges include signed CD, access to the album launch, handwritten lyric sheets, a signed guitar, a songwriting workshop and a house gig.
