Chris passed away at 12:30am this morning, April 4, 2013. He is survived by wife Josie and a 3-year old son.

John Brewster has confirmed that the benefit concert for Chris will go ahead as a tribute show. “It will raise funds to help the little bloke’s education,” John said.

The line-up for the benefit is a Who’s Who of Australian rock including the members of Cold Chisel. The show will feature Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Phil Small and Don Walker, all billed individually.

Diesel will join Jimmy Barnes. Also on the bill are James Reyne, Gangajang, Swanee with The Brewster Brothers and The Angels with Dave Gleeson. Wilbur Wilde will be the MC.
