Ted LeGarde, half of the identical twins duo The LeGarde Twins, has died at the age of 87.

The LeGarde Twins were born in Mackay, Queensland and began performing in the Australian rodeo circuit where they earned the name ‘Australia’s Yodeling Stockmen’.

In 1957, they left for the North America where they were initially based in Canada before relocating to Hollywood and then settling in Nashville.

In recent years The LeGarde Twins started the LeGarde Twins Country Music Theatre in Henderson, Tennessee and later moved it to the Hall of Fame Hotel in Nashville.

Ted and his brother Tom LeGarde once starred in an episode of Star Trek. (I, Mudd, 1967). Ted also starred as Old Man Dalton in the movie D4 (2009).
