Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers and Yeah Yeah Yeahs Lead BDO 2013 Lineup

Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs head up the Big Day Out 2013.

Other artists include Band of Horses, Vampire Weekend, The Bloody Beetroots, Animal Collective, B.O.B., Sleigh Bells, Foals, Alabama Shakes, Crystal Castles, Off! Grinspoon, Against Me, Pretty Lights, Gary Clark Jr., Nicky Romero, Morgan Page, Logo, Every Time I Die, The Delta Spirit, Childish Gambino, 360, Hunting Grounds, Jeff The Brotherhood, Death Grips, Adventure Club, Jagwar Ma, House vs. Hurricane, Avalanche City, Toucan, Helena, Nina Las Vegas and Sampology.

As announced last year, the festival will no longer make it to Auckland. It will be the first time since 1993 the festival hasn’t traversed the Tasman.

Tickets to all shows are on sale this Thursday, July 19 at (all local times):

7pm Sydney
8pm Gold Coast
8pm Perth
9pm Melbourne
9:30pm Adelaide

The festival will travel around the country in January in a slightly different order to what we’re used to. Dates are:

JANUARY 

18 – Showgrounds, Sydney, NSW
20 – Parklands, Gold Coast, QLD
25 – Showgrounds, Adelaide, SA
26 – Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, VIC
28 – Claremont Showgrounds, Perth, WA
