Robin Gibb has awoken from his coma and is communicating with family members.

The 62-year old Bee Gees singer has been suffering from colon and liver cancer and recently contracted pneumonia.
He went into the coma one week ago and today his spokesman Doug Wright has confirmed that Gibb is awake and can communicate by nodding. Yesterday it was revealed that the Bee Gees star was starting to move his eyes and it appeared he was attempting to speak.
Wright also said that Robin cried when his wife Dwina played him Roy Orbison’s ‘Crying’. Brother Barry had been singing to him while his children Robin-John (RJ), Spencer and Melissa had been constantly playing him music.
In February Gibb announced he was in remission from the cancer but was too ill to attend his work premiere in London of ‘The Titanic Requiem’.
Gibb’s family advised fans that Robin was in a coma via his official website and advised to visit his Facebook page for updates.
