Rolling Stones Welcomes John Mayer To Anaheim

John Mayer was the special guest of the latest instalment of the 50 and Counting tour as it moved into Anaheim.

Mayer previously played with The Stones on the December shows in Newark New Jersey where he performed ‘Respectable’ and ‘Going Down’. At the Anaheim show The Stones and John Mayer bashed out a cover of Muddy Waters ‘Champagne & Reefer’.

The changes to the setlist were the first times plays of ‘Rocks Off’ and ‘Waiting On A Friend’, both for the first time on the 50 and Counting tour but both played live by the Stones in 2007.

Former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor was delegated to his regular slot on this tour performing ‘Midnight Rambler’.
