Buranovskiye Babushki, Russia’s dancing grannies, have made it all the way to number two at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song ‘Party For Everybody’.

Buranovskiye Babushki featured the oldest contest at Eurovision this year. The average age of the group is 75. The combined age is 500. The oldest member of the group is 86.
The “Russian Spice Grannies” were up against Britain’s contest Engelbert Humperdinck, who despite being the biggest star in the contest with over 150 million records sold, missed out on the Top 10.
The winner of Eurovision 2012 was Sweden’s Loreen.
