Scott Ian To Bring Spoken Work Tour To Australia

by Paul Cashmere on July 4, 2018

in News

Anthrax founder Scott Ian is heading to Australia to talk about what he has done instead of performing it.

Ian has a lot of stories to tell, as the Jewish kid from Queens, as the guitarist for Anthrax, as the comic book author and as the son-in-law of Meat Loaf. He even recently filmed an appearance in an episode of Game of Thrones.

Scott Ian has already taken his spoken word tour across the USA, Canada, UK and Europe. Next … Australia.

In Scott’s own words, “One Man Riot is what I call my talking show because the pretension of saying I am doing a ‘Spoken Word’ show is too much to bear. This isn’t a poetry reading. This isn’t an evening of sensitive discourse. It’s an evening of ridiculous truth.

It’s me talking (swearing) about this insane life I’ve led over the last 38 years, the people I’ve met and the shit that’s happened. And when I’m done swearing, you can ask me anything you want, the floor is yours. Cheers my friends.”

Scott Ian dates

Monday, September 24: Dunstan Play House, Adelaide
Wednesday, September 26: Goldfields Theatre – MCEC, Melbourne
Saturday, September 29: Metro Theatre, Sydney
Monday, October 1: The Tivoli, Brisbane
