Fanning dropped a show 19-second teaser onto YouTube today that simply alerted fans that a single was due on April 22 followed by the album on June 7.

The video shows a glimpse of Sunset Sound in LA where the album was recorded.

Known song-titles include ‘Here Comes The Sadist’, ‘Tell Me How It Ends’ and ‘Grow Around You’.

Fanning’s first solo album ‘Tea & Sympathy’ was released in 2005 when he was still the lead singer of Powderfinger. The album reached number one on the ARIA chart.

Powderfinger broke up in 2010 after forming in Brisbane in 1989.
