Shihad To Support Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath will tour Australia and New Zealand with NZ’s own Shihad.

Shihad have their own legacy after clocking up 25 years as a band, releasing 8 albums and an induction in the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.

Black Sabbath will work their way down to the southern hemisphere in April and that timing should coincide with their first album with Ozzy Osbourne in over 30 years.

The last Ozzy/Sabbath album was ‘Never Say Die’ from 1977. Ronnie James Dio joined after that for the ‘Heaven and Hell’ album.

Black Sabbath have been in the studio working on the new record with Rick Rubin. To so far unnamed album will be released in April.

Black Sabbath dates for Live Nation are:

April 20 and 22, Auckland, Vector Arena
April 25, Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
April 27, Sydney, Allphones Arena
April 29 and May 1, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
May 4, Perth, Perth Arena
