Axl Rose has turned 50 and Slash has sent him a message.

“Duff’s bday yesterday, the redhead’s today, Happy Birthday fuckers!,” he tweeted.

William Bruce Rose Jr was born on February 6, 1962, the oldest child of Sharon and William Bruce Rose of Lafayette, Indiana. He has two younger siblings, a sister Amy and half-brother Stuart.

His father was found murdered in Illinois in 1984.

Duff McKagan turned 48 this week.

Also this week Slash finished up work on his second solo album. “Officially done recording tonight. Shooting an album length video Tues. finishing shooting for ‘Gotten’ tonight. Busy fn weekend”.

The yet-to-be titled Slash album will be released on May 18, 2012 through Sony.
