The Nothing Butts is full of familiar faces. Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin of The Drones and original Scientist and Beasts of Bourbon axe-man James Baker joins Spencer in the band.

Jones original started out to record a solo album, took along Baker to Andrew McGee’s Empty Room studio in Melbourne and McGee called in “the neighbours” Gareth and Fiona.

The solo album soon became Melbourne’s newest “supergroup”.

Spencer P Jones and the Nothing Butts will release their debut album through Shock on November 9.
