Steven Craenmerh of MassiveMusic, Amsterdam has been confirmed as one of the victims of the SXSW massacre that killed two and injured a further 23 people.

Austin police have not yet released the victims name although his company in Holland has released the following statement:

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our close friend and colleague Steven Craenmehr, 35, on March 13th, 2014 at SXSW. During the 8 years that Steven worked for MassiveMusic, we got to know him as an unstoppable force, full of life, love and laughter. This is an irreplaceable loss for the MassiveMusic family and we are grateful for the years we spent with him. Our thoughts are with Steven’s family and friends.

Craenmerh was the creative director for the company and went by the title ‘Sonic Branding Specialist’.

A second victim, believed to be a local woman, has not yet been named.

Police are holding a 22-year old local man from the Austin suburb of Killeen. The Killeen Daily has named him as Rashad Charjuan Owens. He will be charged with two counts of capital murder and may face the death penalty under Texan law.
