The Tangerine Kitty ‘Dumb Ways To Die’ viral ad campaign for Metro Trains now has had more views that people living in Australia.

As of today the video has been viewed 24,222, 791 times on YouTube. That is 1.5 million views more than the population of Australia. (22,822.713).

Noise11 revealed the secret identity of Tangerine Kitty last week. Tangerine Kitty is Emily Lubitz of Tinpan Orange (Tangerine) and Ollie McGill from The Cat Empire (Kitty).

On November 20 the video had just over 8 million views so it has clocked up another 16 million views in the past six days.

The song was commission from ad agency McCann Group for Metro Trains Melbourne.
