Television To Perform ATP Release The Bats Aussie Sideshows

70s New York innovators Television will perform headline shows in addition to their ATP Release The Bats dates in Australia in October.

Television have added Perth, Sydney and Hobart shows.

The iconic American band were founders of New-Wave alongside Blondie, Talking Heads, Patti Smith and The Ramones.

Television formed in 1973 and in 1977 released their signature album, the influential ‘Marquee Moon’.

Singer / guitarist Tom Verlaine, bassist Fred Smith, drummer Billy Ficca and guitarist Jimmy Rip, will perform for the first time in Australia this October.

Dates are:

October 28, Fremantle, Fly By Night
October 30, Sydney, Enmore Theatre
November 1, Hobart, The Void @Mona
