The Seekers are still touring for their 50th anniversary and this week are making their way to the UK.

The legendary Australian group will start their UK tour in Cardiff next Monday and conclude the tour with a couple of shows at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in June.

The Seekers, Judith Durham, Athol Guy, Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley, started out in 1964 and are on their 50th Anniversary Jubilee tour.

In 1965 and 1967 they performed in the USA on the Ed Sullivan Show. They also played a Royal Command Performance in London for the Queen Mother in 1966.

The Seekers appearance at the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne in 1967 still holds the record for most people at an Australian concert. More than 200,000 people turned up for the show in March 1967 when Melbourne’s population was just 2 million. The city now has a population of almost 5 million .
