Australia has kicked off the 2019 live music season with a vibrant series of acts with the Red Hot Summer series bringing local and international acts across Australia and a number of bands back together including Do Re Mi, Divinyls and The Beasts.

In this weeks iHeartRadio Music News powered by Noise11.com Red Hot Summer series one headliners Jimmy Barnes and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts are here as well as the seven acts coming up in Series two mid February – Suzi Quatro, The Angels, Baby Animals, Screaming Jets, Jon Stevens, Noiseworks and Chocolate Starfish.

Mark McEntee has put together an all-new Divinyls line-up. We talk to new lead singer Lauren Ruth Ward. Kim Salmon is here to talk about the next stage of The Beasts of Bourbon, now called simply The Beasts and with Do Re Mi performing their first shows since the 80s for By The C, we catch up with Helen Carter.
