Following his recent tour with Ringo Starr, Todd Rundgren will return to Australia for his own dates in July for Lennard Promotions.
Rundgren showcased three of his classics as part of the Ringo Starr All-Starr Band and will highlight songs from his new album ‘State’ on this tour.
‘State’ is Rundgren’s 24th solo album. In the 70s he had a string of hits on the Australian chart including ‘I Saw The Light’, ‘Hello It’s Me’ and ‘Can We Still Be Friends’.
As a producer Todd was the man behind the controls for one of the biggest albums of all time, ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ for Meat Loaf.
Todd will bring his own all-star band to Australia with Prarie Prince (The Tubes) on drums, Kasim Sultan (Utopia) on bass, John Ferenzik (Jefferson Starship) on keyboards and Jesse Gress on guitar.
