Two Aussies Amy Shark and Troye Sivan Feature On ‘Love Simon’ Soundtrack

Amy Shark from the Gold Coast and Perth’s Troye Sivan both have songs placed in the new movie’ Love, Simon’.

Amy’s ‘Sink In’ and Troye’s ‘Strawberries & Cigarettes’ are lined up with songs from Bleachers, The 1975 and HAERTS.

‘Love, Simon’ is a romantic, teen comedy-drama based on the book ‘Simon vs Homo Sapiens Agenda’ by Becky Albertalli. It is a coming of age movie about a closeted gay student who is forced to come out after being blackmailed by a classmate.

The movie stars Nick Robinson (Jurassic World) as Simpm Spier and Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel as his parents.

Albertalli received the William C. Morris Award from the American Library Association for her book.

The movie will premiere on 16 March 2018.
