They started working together in 2006 and developed their name with remixes of Rocket Men’s ‘Candy’ and Claude VonStroke’s ‘The Whistler’ before releasing their debut single ‘For Everyone’ through Ministry of Sound’s Hussle Records in 2007.

‘Seventeen Past Midnight’ was the debut album for The Aston Shuffle in 2011. It made it to number one on iTunes Electronic Chart and sliced off a few hits with ‘Start Again’, ‘Your Love’ and ‘Won’t Get Lost’.

The Aston Shuffle signed their record deal with EMI in March and now join the Universal Music Publishing arm for songwriting.

“We are beyond excited to welcome The Aston Shuffle to our roster. Mikah and Vance are clever, adventurous and intuitive songwriters and we look forward to opening up a world of opportunity for their tunes,” said Heath Johns, Director of A&R, Universal Music Publishing Group- Australia.

“We are extremely excited to be working with the Universal Music Publishing team. We couldn’t be happier embarking on this new journey with them,” said Mikah Freeman and Vance Musgrove of The Aston Shuffle.
