Veruca Salt will release their first album with all four original members since 1997 in July.

‘Ghost Notes’ reunites Nina Gordon (guitar/vocals), Louise Post (guitar/vocals), Steve Lack (bass), Jim Shapiro (drums). The foursome were responsible for the first two Veruca Salt albums ‘American Thighs’ (1994) and ‘Eight Arms To Hold You (1997).

Founder Nina Gordon left after the second album and released her debut solo album ‘Tonight and the Rest Of My Life’ in 2000. The departure of Gordon after a well-publicised feud with Louise Post was as documented as the Fleetwood Mac soap opera.

Post continued on with Veruca Salt for two more albums ‘Resolver’ (2000) and ‘IV’ in 2006 but without the original members it no longer sounded like Veruca Salt.

In March 2013 Veruca Salt announced that all four original members had settled their differences. In April 2014 they released the EP ‘MMXIV’ and then toured the USA and Australia.

Veruca Salt say ‘Ghost Notes’ is the third album they originally intended to make. Some of the songs on the new record were started then abandoned in the 90s.

‘Ghost Notes’ will be released on July 10, 2015 though Warner Music.

The first single ‘Laughing In The Sugar Bowl’ is out now.
