Green Day have released a video to explain what they are releasing three new albums.

The albums ‘¡Uno!’, ‘¡Dos!’, ‘¡Tré!’ will be released between September 2012 and January 2013.

US Release dates for the albums are:

September 25, 2012 for ‘Uno’
November 13, 2012 for ‘Dos’
January 15, 2013 for ‘Tre’

Billy, Mike and Tre put together the video below to explain why they decided to go with three albums instead of one.

Green Day stormed onto the Great Oak Stage to the raucous cheer from 65,000 fans. The Californian trio, made up of frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, guitarist Mike Dirnt and fluorescent-haired drummer Tré Cool, opened with their thunderous hit “Know Your Enemy”. Billie Joe then handpicked a mega fan from the crowd to lead on vocals and stage dive into the audience.
