Earlier story

64-year old Lovegrove was one of Australian Music’s founders. In his decades in the biz, Vince was an artist, manager, writer and producer.

In his early days in the 60s, he fronted the band The Valentines with Bon Scott who he later introduced to AC/DC. He managed Divinyls, tour managed Jimmy Barnes but his life had a tragic side.

His wife Suzi Sidewinder contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion in 1987. Her death and the death of their son Troy inspired Vince to produce the documentary ‘Suzi’s Story’ to raise awareness that AIDS was not just a gay disease.
