Walk Off The Earth featuring Sarah Blackwood have created a viral hit with their Gotye cover after uploading the song to YouTube just 4 days ago.

Their video features five people playing one guitar.

Meanwhile, the original by Gotye and Kimbra has now generated 36,751,897 views.

Gotye and Kimbra’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ has been number one in Germany for the past two weeks, news that apparently just got through to Kimbra today. A few hours ago she said on Facebook ‘Somebody That I Used To Know is officially #1 in Germany. Wow this is awesome!’. Well she has been travelling.

Gotye called the Walk Off The Earth clip ‘Hilarious and brilliant. I know who to ask for help with acoustic versions of Somebody: Walk Off The Earth”.

Yesterday, Gotye was announced for the line-up for Coachella in California in April. He was the only Australian act to make the Coachella line-up this year.
