Taylor Swift has performed a version of Vance Joy’s ‘Riptide’ for the BBC Live Lounge.

Swift called the song “one of my favourite songs to come out this year”.

Vance Joy ‘Riptide’ has been the Australian international hit of 2014. ‘Riptide’ reached no 4 in Austria, 7 in Ireland, 9 in Germany, 10 in the UK, 29 in Canada and 52 in the USA.

The Vance Joy debut album ‘Dream Your Life Away’ topped the Australian album chart and reached no 2 in Canada, 17 in the USA and 20 in the UK.
