The four songs – ‘I Gotsta Get Paid’, ‘Chartreuse’, ‘Over You’ and ‘Consumption’ – form the ‘Texicali’ EP and are from the forthcoming album which was recorded with the legendary Rick Rubin.

Some might’ve already heard ‘I Gotsta Get Paid’ as part of the soundtrack to the new action flick Battleship or seen the band perform it in a beer cooler via the viral video for Jeremiah Weed liquor.

Billy Gibbons from the band said in a statement: “We were itching to get some new music out before the full album release; making available these four tracks seems like a good way to accomplish that most expeditiously. Dusty, Frank and I are happy with what’s been accomplished in the studio so we figured we’d provide some hot and tasty ‘hors d’oeuvres’ before the main course is served this fall.”

‘Texicali’ will be available online on June 5.
