Love Never Dies is the sequel to Phantom Of The Opera.

Andrew Lloyd-Webber chose Melbourne, Australia for the first production of Love Never Dies outside of London and the Australian version, reconstructed by director Simon Phillips, has become the benchmark production for all future productions of the musical around the world.

Universal Studios were suitably impressed with the Australian production, so much so that they are turning the Melbourne show into a full-length movie.

Andrew Lloyd-Webber came back to Australia to supervise the start of the movie production.

Noise11’s Paul Cashmere talked to Andrew when he was in town.
