Bob Spencer is one of Australia’s most enduring guitarists having played with Finch, Skyhooks and The Angels.

In that first band Finch, Bob was recently documented in the compilation ‘When Sharpies Ruled’, with two rare songs ‘Hey Spunky’ and ‘Out Of Control’ getting a widespread release on CD for the first time ever through Warner Music.

Bob replaced Red Symons in Skyhooks and is best heard on the raucous ‘Women In Uniform’, once covered by Iron Maiden, which he talks about in this interview.

Bob Spencer also did time with The Angels, co-writing some of their biggest latter day hits ‘Don’t Waste My Time’ and ‘Dogs Are Talking’.

Bob Spencer has a lot of history to talk about and he tells it all to Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.
