Diesel put Covid lockdown to good use. In 2020 he released ‘Sunset Suburbia’, an album of new songs. In 2021, he is once again paying tribute to his blues roots with ‘Alone With Blues’.
‘Alone With Blues’ is 100% Mark Lizotte. He plays every instrument and recorded the album at his studio in Sydney.
The album features some fairly known and some relatively unknown blues tracks from the masters. It also includes a song by Ross Wilson written around the time, but not included on, Mark’s first solo Diesel album ‘Hep Fidelity’.
There are lots of stories and new of the upcoming Red Hot Summer tour for Diesel.
