The world is watching Gary Clark Jr. The Austin, Texas guitarist has quickly earned a reputation as one of the great new bluesmen of America.
When he was still a teenager, Clark was discovered by Clifford Antone and got to play with Stevie Ray Vaughan. He took the stage at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival in 2010 and just recently shared a stage with Mick Jagger and BB King in The White House performing for President Obama.
And now, the “music industry veteran’ has hit the rip old age of 28.
At SXSW Noise11’s Paul Cashmere sat down with Gary Clark Jr to hear his story.
