Rising Melbourne rap star Illy discuss the all-Aussie hip-hop fest Sprung, his new back-to-basics album and fans ranking the rappers.

His second album, The Chase, was Illy’s breakthrough in the ever-expanding pantheon of Australian hip-hop, with the Owl Eyes-featured ‘It Can Wait’ nabbed thousands more fans.

And what about his biggest headlining tour ever? And what of the mammoth Sprung Festival in Brisbane on November 10? Watch and learn.
