The pint-sized winner of Australia’s Got Talent – Jack Vidgen – utilises his golden tonsils to chat about instant fame, his album, and whether he can upstage Adele.

Jack Vidgen’s cherubic look when he first appeared on the Australia’s Got Talent stage belied his massive, soulful voice. And when this freckled kid sang, jaws dropped. After surmounting songs made famous by the world’s greatest divas, he chanced a self-penned song and still beat out all-comers.

With almost instantaneous album Yes I Am debuting at number three on the ARIA Charts, Vidgen became an instant star.

Check out our chat with the nation’s newest pop star, as he ponders how to spend the prize money, whether he’ll keep on at school, and explains the original song that set him apart.
