82-Year Old Australian Arrested For Child Sex Crimes Still Not Named

The 82-year old Australian entertainer arrested for child sex offences in London has still not been named for legal reasons although social media sites and posts are constantly referring to a household name originally from Perth.

The man arrested is the 11th suspect charged in the Operation Yewtree investigation rounding up people on charges of sexual assault and paedophilia.

It is known that the man taken into custody was an 82-year well-known Australia entertainer from Berkshire in south-east England. The Perth entertainer is 82, a household name in Australia and lives in The Fisherys, Bray, Berkshire in the UK.

The person charged with the child sex crimes is linked to entertainer Jimmy Savile, who died before being charged. Other charged include  Gary Glitter, Jim Davidson, Freddie Starr and Stuart Hall.

It is estimated that Savile and associates assaulted up to 450 victims over a 50 years period. The youngest was 9-years old.
