Augie March To Perform In World Class Melbourne Recital Centre

Augie March have added a Melbourne Recital Centre show for April 2015.

The 1000 capacity Elisabeth Murdoch Hall, named after one of Melbourne’s most famous residents Dame Elisabeth Murdoch, was opened in 2009.

Augie March will play the Meredith Music Festival on December 13 and also play a MOFO sideshow in Hobart on January 1. The band will also perform at the Sydney Opera House on January 25.

The Melbourne Recital Centre show will be held on April 17.

Augie March formed in Shepparton, Victoria in 1996. The band went into hiatus in 2009 and reformed this year to release their 5th album ‘Havens Dumb’.

Strange Bird (no 34, 2002)
Moo, You Blood Choir (no 10, 2006)
Watch Me Disappear (no 4, 2008)

‘Haven’s Dumb’ peaked at no 14 this year.
