Augie March To Perform In World Class Melbourne Recital Centre

Augie March have teamed up with Romy Vager for a cover of the ‘Henry Lee’ by Nick Cave for the release of the Tony Cohen memoir ‘Half Deaf, Completely Mad’.

In 2009 Augie March toured Australian quietly and acoustically. In 2019 they’ll do it again.

Bernard Fanning, Sally Seltmann, Paul Dempsey, Glenn Richards (Augie March), Oh Mercy, Alan Pigram (Pigram Brothers), Jae Laffer (the Panics), Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe), comedian Paul McDermott and many other notable musicians visited the deserted settlement of Cassack (Bajinhurrba) in the Pilbara region of Western Australia to create the VAST project.

Glenn Richards of Augie March tells the stories behind the band’s new album ‘Bootikans’ this week. The album was the very last thing producer Tony Cohen worked on before he died.

Melbourne’s boutique Leaps and Bounds Music Festival will launch on July 13 at the Corner Hotel with Augie March, Jess Ribeiro and The Pink Tiles plus a very special guest to perform Paul Kelly's ‘Leaps & Bounds’.
